WITT backflow non-return valves for reliable protection against dangerous gas backflow in installations and pipework systems. The flow-optimised valve system ensures very low pressure loss with minimal noise emission. Every backflow preventer is 100% tested and holds a DVGW certificate. The backflow preventers are tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 5175-2. They can also be used as a safety device against flame back-flow (tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 5175-1, Section 6.7) during the combustion of natural gas with air, but in this case the maximum operating pressure is 2 bar.
